Overview: For the final project in this course, you will be developing an enterprise-wide strategic plan for managing patient engagement with mobile
applications. This is a substantial project, and to develop a high-quality submission, you will be working on pieces of the project throughout the course. This
journal assignment is an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the requirements of the final project and to start conducting research on the topics of patient
engagement and mobile applications in healthcare. This assignment will prepare you to complete Milestone One, which is due in Module Two.
This journal is private between the student and the instructor.
Prompt: To begin, review the Final Project Case Study and the Final Project Guidelines and Rubric documents. Then, create a journal submission that addresses
the following:
 Strategic Planning: Explain how the phases of strategic planning apply to the final project. How will you address the various phases as you complete the
final project?
 Resources: Conduct research and list three resources that relate to patient engagement and mobile applications in healthcare. Be sure to appropriately
cite these sources using APA formatting.
 Relevancy: Provide a brief summary for each resource, explaining how the resource provides context for the final project.
