In the past few modules in this course, you have learned about the various types of police communications, how to craft objective communications without bias, how communication methods and styles can change based on the law enforcement role, and how to craft clear, concise communications. You will now apply this knowledge to research samples of various types of police communications: an immediate notification/communication (after an incident), a press release, a social media post, and an internal report. These examples will help you prepare for submission of Project Two, due in Module Seven, in which you will actually create communication artifacts regarding a specific scenario.

First, review the Project Two Instructions and Rubric document and familiarize yourself with the scenario and the details of the communications. Next, review the sample communications:

Then, research each type of communication. Describe the purpose(s) of each type of communication (2- to 3- sentence description) and find a sample of each type of communication. For each sample, provide either a link, video, or screenshot with appropriate citation in APA format. The communications do not need to be related to the same situation.
